Terms of Trade:
Medishare Aotearoa Product Database is set up as a multivendor site. The standard terms for trading on the site are as follows:
For all supplies, which includes equipment of all type, courses or any other product, an four and nine tenth (3.9%) percent commission on sales, “success fee”, shall apply for MediShare Limited on the sale price of the item (s). For services, memberships, subscriptions or other types of “products” that do not have a fixed price offer or require further contractual negotiations, the commission is waived.
In all cases a $.99 transaction fee shall be applied to any transaction.
Medical Aid Abroad Special Terms:
As a recipient of support from medical aid abroad trust, all transactions are at zero (0) fee. This means that any transaction undertaken within the Overseas M.A.A. Exchange is considered a “request” only. In this instance, after a request is made through the exchange, a staff member from Medical Aid Abroad will be in touch to further fulfill your request.
Exchange of Medication:
The use of any exchange to share medication can only be executed as a “zero cost” transaction. This means the posting of any medications is only to be considered as a notice board for future exchange between the parties involved in the transaction. MediShare Limited holds no responsibility on the final transaction. No controlled drugs can be posted onto any MediShare exchange. MediShare monitors all transactions and should a breech of this term occur, immediate action shall be taken.
Cancellation of your subscription can happen any time. There is no membership period, except for the free trial product. If you cancel your membership you will no longer be charged the monthly fee and your products will no longer be listed within the database. The set-up fee and charges up to the point of cancellation are non-refundable. A final payment for all monies owed will be paid and your account will be closed. As a note: should you desire to rejoin MediShare, a new set-up fee will be charged.
General Code of Conduct:
As part of the network of professional medical practices and industry specialist our code of conduct represents our approach to fair trade.
Any person, company or medical practice selling on the MAPD agrees to:
- Post items they have ownership or the delegated right to share, trade or sell.
- Ensure proper and rapid correspondence takes place for any queries.
- Ship/deliver items as soon as possible.
- Operate with “good faith” at all times
Any person, company or medical practice selling on the MAPD agrees to:
- Purchase items in which they are duly able to purchase.
- Ensure prompt and engaged correspondences for any transaction taking place.
- Pay as soon as possible.
- Operate with “good faith” at all times.
